Types of ASRS systems

Depending on the movement, mobility and design direction of the AS/RS system, different categories of ASRS systems can be deployed in warehouses:

Fixed-aisle unit load AS/RS system: This system can be used when the storage area is limited and there is an urgent need to retrieve large and heavy goods quickly. These systems can handle loads up to 5,500 pounds. In narrow aisles within pallet racks, they can reach heights of over 100 feet.

Movable Aisle Unit Load AS/RS Cranes: These cranes are very similar to fixed-aisle unit load AS/RS cranes in that they also move between narrow channels for pallets. The difference is that these cranes are not anchored to any aisle.

Small Load AS/RS Cranes: The difference between small load AS/RS cranes and unit load AS/RS cranes is that the former can handle loads of 1,000 pounds or less. Coverage range of small load AS/RS cranes is 6 to 72 feet.

Small Load AS/RS Shuttle: The AS/RS Shuttle delivers products via a shuttle that runs on rails between rack structures. Both small AS/RS type loaders (shuttle and crane) can handle boxes, cartons or pallets, but not pallets.

Carousel-based AS/RS: These horizontal carousels are a collection of bins that rotate horizontally along a track.

Vertical Lift Module (VLM): The rotation angle of this module is different from that of a horizontal carousel, similar to a Ferris wheel. However, recent models are capable of accommodating large amounts of inventory at vertical heights. This way, valuable floor space is saved in the warehouse, and the space can be used for other operations or storage of materials.

1)   When could we receive goods after making payments?

ü  It depends on how big is your project. Regularly, 6-8weeks goods will be ready to be shipped.

2)   I want to improve our current warehouse storage to AS/RS racking storage system, but I am not that professional, how could we start conversation?

ü  No worries. Just sent us CAD drawings of your current warehouse and let us know your requests on AS/RS racking system or just fill in the questionnaire we sent to you, we will send you a turn-key solution for you to confirm.

3)  How about installation?

ü  If you want to install by your own team, we could send our technical person to do an on-site guidance for installation. Or, if you don’t have your own installation team, we could help to install by our own professional installation team, but cost is on yours.

4)  How long is your guarantee time?

ü  Normally, it is 1 year guarantee. And after 1 year, we may provide accessories at price of only our cost for repairing if needed. But regularly, the system is very stable, you won’t have problems within even 5 years.
